!BIRTH-OCCUPATIONS: "The Daniel Family Record" by Joseph Daniels; copy sent to Reta Evans, Ft. Worth, TX from Lyle Daniel, Lockwood, Dade Co., Mo. Lon worked for the railroad until 1917 when he went to work for a sheep man. At the beginning of the war (WW I) he went to work in the shipyards. He held numerous jobs until 1932 when he moved to Payette where he operated a service station. He worked here until 1947 when he moved to Keating, Oregon and went into the ranching business with his brother Hallie.
