"Nathaniel Hughston Greer born in Franklin County, Virginia, 15 September 1853 and married Charlotte Frances Robertson 23 May 1871. It is possible that his middle name was really Hudson. I only have 4 children listed for him: James N., William T., Sarah A., and Thomas W. H. I don't have much more about the children, but they were all born around the 1870's - this info is from the 1880 census, so obviously Willis George would have been born after that census was taken. I have not found Nathaniel in the 1900 census. Nathaniel was the son of John Greer, born in Bedford County, Virginia in 1796, died in Franklin County, Virginia, 13 Jan 1857, and married to Louisa Robertson 29 December 1828 in Franklin County, Virginia."
