Lela Marie Coggin (Wilson) Maes Lela Marie was born December 24, 1930 to Icy and Ira Coggin at Ranger, Texas. In l937 Lela Marie's family moved to New Mexico to the Roswell area. In 1946 she married Douglas Wilson in Roswell. In 1957 Douglas and Lela Marie and their four children moved to Santa Fe. Douglas died in 1974. In 1975 Lela Marie married Robert Maes. Lela is survived by husband, Robert Maes; two daughters, Patricia Corley (Andy) of Mesa Arizona, Vicki Sather (Jerry) of Albuquerque; one son, Rance Wilson of Roswell; three stepdaughters, Patricia McLaughlin (John), Melinda Carrillo (Andy), Sandra Ramirez (Mike); thirty-eight grandchildren; and forty great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, one stepson, and two grandchildren. Lela Marie was a member of Santa Fe Church of Christ. She worked at J. C. Penney for twenty-five years from 1962- 1987. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Berardinelli Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011, at 9 a.m. in the Santa Fe National Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 1205 Galisteo Street in Santa Fe. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Mexico Christian Children's Home, 1356 NM 236, Portales, NM 88130 or www.nmcch.org Arrangements are under the direction of Berardinelli Family Funeral Service 1399 Luisa Street, Santa Fe, NM 87505.
