"Brenda Estes Walton passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Brenda was born on December 9, 1960 to Word and Wauneta Estes in Pecos Texas. She graduated from Clyde High School in 1979 and attended Abilene Christian University. Brenda worked for Farm and Ranch Western Wear and Pride Marketing and was employed by BlueKnight Marketing at the time of her passing. Brenda married Kim Walton on February 13, 1982. Brenda touched many lives in many different ways. She was a loving wife and mother to her three sons and loved to watch her boys participate in rodeo and sporting events. Brenda was a kind and compassionate person and was always willing to help others. She lived every day of her life to the fullest. Brenda was a grandmother who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her granddaughter and was looking forward to the birth of her grandson. She was a loyal friend and will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her. Brenda fought the good fight and is now at home with her Lord. Brenda is survived by her husband of 28 years, Kim Walton, of Clyde; her sons, Cody Walton and wife Sunny of Abilene; Casey Walton and wife Lindsey of Honey Grove; Wyatt Walton of Clyde; one sister, DeNell Estes of Clyde; two brothers, Diehl Estes and wife Melanie and Brian Estes and wife Karen, both of Clyde; her parents, Word and Wauneta Estes of Clyde; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Billy and Earlene Clay; her sister-in-law, Karen Shields and husband Tommy; her nephews, Diehlman Estes, Travis Estes and Brandon Shields; her nieces, Taylor Estes, Courtney Estes and Meredith Terrell and husband Paul; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Granny B is also survived by her precious granddaughter, Dallie Jane Walton, who was the light of B’s life. Pallbearers are Cody Walton, Casey Walton, Wyatt Walton, Tyson Broadfoot, Teryl Broadfoot and Miles Rand of Clyde and Lewis Ash and Kendell Williams of Abilene. Honorary Pallbearers are Brenda's brothers Diehl Estes and Brian Estes, both of Clyde. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 209 South Danville, B-107, Abilene, Texas 79605."
