"Bobby Frank Estes, 37, of 1110 Veterans Blvd. in Pecos died in Scott and White Hospital in Temple at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral plans will be announced by Elliott's Funeral Home. Mr. Estes was born June 26, 1929 at Hamby, son of John L. Sr. and Lillian Coffman Estes. They moved to Clyde when he was quite young where he graduated from Clyde High School in 1945. He married Wanda Gayle Harper in 1950 at Muleshoe. Mr. Estes was a member of Pecos Church of Christ. He farmed at Pecos. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Cynthia Dale; three sons, Bobby Frank, Andrew Harper and Roy Glenn; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Estes Sr. of Clyde; two sisters, Mrs. A. E. Lastovica of Temple and Mrs. Kenneth Holcomb of Clyde; three brothers, Dr. John L. Estes Jr., of 2309 Lincoln Dr., Billy Sol Estes of 70 Castle Dr. and Word Estes of Clyde; his maternal grandmother, Mr. L. F. Coffman of Clyde; 20 nieces and nephews. A daughter, Elizabeth Gayle, preceded him in death." (Obituary.)
