"Edgar Leon Blair, 93, of Monahans, died Saturday, August 21, 2004, at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans. Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 23, at Heritage Funeral Chapel with John Bell officiating. Burial was in Kermit Cemetery. He was born December 16, 1910, in Fort Worth, was a retired mechanic for Exxon, served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Blair of Monahans; two daughters, Marlene Terry Coleman of Pecos, Venetia Terry Hitch of Las Vegas, Neveda; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Heritage Funeral Home of Monahans is in charge of arrangements." (Obituray, Pecos Enterprise.)
