"According to information we have, Clementine Cantrell united with the Zion Hill Church in McMinn County, Tennessee in November 1845, at the same time her sister, Adeline Cantrell, Mary Ann Chesnutt, adn Mary Reynolds joined. Also, at the same meeting but at a later time, the following joined: Uncle Thomas J. Russell, James Chesnutt, James Braden, Reynolds Cantrell, Elmina Cantrell, Hugh Reynolds and wife, Ann Copeland, James Reynolds, Lafayett Cantrell, and Rachel Morris."
