(NOTE FROM RALPH TERRY: The Allen writing shows Emma marrying Polk McGarr and Ann dying unmarried; whereas Peck shows just the opposite. I cannot tell from the information at hand which did marry McGarr, but feel that Emma did, as a daughter also moved to Merkel, Texas.)
