POOLEVILLE -- Graveside rites for Noel D. Anderson Sr., Pruitt City, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pooleville Cemetery with the Rev. Dwight Hawkins officiating. Anderson died Feb. 6, 1999 in the Ardmore hospital. He was born Sept. 28, 1918, in Love County, to Will and Rosa Anderson.

He served in the Navy During World War II and was a retired oil field worker. He had lived all his life in this area.

Survivors include three daughters, Bobbie Jean, Duncan, Shirley Jo, Truckee, Calif., and Sandy, San Diego, Calif.; three sons, Noel Jr., Conway, Ark., Tommy D., and Warren D., California; and two sisters, Lynell Self and Nelda Honeyton, also of California. He was preceded in death by six sisters; and four brothers.

Milburn Funeral Home, Ratliff City, will direct services.
