"Floetta McCartney, 72, 1204 S. 10th, died Wednesday, July 4, 1990, in her home. Service will be at 11 a. m. Saturday in the Loco First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Loco Cemetery under the direction of Brooks Funeral Home. Mrs. McCartney was born April 9, 1918, in Santa Fe, Oklahoma. A lifelong resident of Stephens County, she moved to Duncan in 1955 from Velma. She was retired and was a member of the 700 Club. Survivors include two daughters, Gail Adkins (sic) of Comanche (Oklahoma) and Kay McCreary of Fort Worth (Texas); a son, Glen McCartney of Irving, Texas; two brothers, Lester Hanson and Bill Hanson, both of Duncan; two sisters, Faye Anderson and Imogene Hanson, both of Duncan; 12 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Bearers will be Randy Mann, Wade Green, Donnie Allen, Jerry Skiles, Perry Brinegar and Christopher Rolofson.
