Crickett "Susie" Holland

(March 17, 1895 - 1952)

1930 Comanche County, Oklahoma census. Virgil Shaw and his sons were lodging with Susie Story at this time.

"Crickett Holland named herself Susy as she grew up." (Bibsey Russell, 1982.) She was killed in the Lawton, Oklahoma area about 1953 or 1954, along with her husband, Virgil, and twin sons, Virgil and Vernon. She is thought to be buried at Apache, Oklahoma.

"Susie (Cricket) is our Grandma that married mama's brother-in-law, Virgil Shaw. That made him my Grandpa and Uncle. Susie (Cricket) was my Grandma and also Aunt." (Naomi Rogers, Salem, Oregon, June 2000.)
