Nicholas Day

Nicholas Day served in the Revolutinary War with Flying Camp Regiment. He was enlisted by Lt. Edward Oldham, passed by Thomas Bond in Baltimore County, Maryland on July 19, 1776, as a private in the Militia of Maryland. Nicholas is shown in the Morgan County, North Carolina census in 1790. The marriage dates and birth information of the children is as shown from ROYAL HERITAGE OF THE GREERS by Carolyn Beal, page 36.

According to Carolyn Beal, Nicholas Day adopted Benjamin Figgs Angelly, who was probably a son of Grace Angelly, who was probably the second wife of John Day, Sr. (Ralph Terry)
