Wayne "Fat Papa" Cook, 70, of Amarillo died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Dale Travis of Family Life Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Cook was born Nov. 22, 1936, in Abernathy to Phillip and Edna Peel Cook. He owned and operated Cook's Tractor and Equipment for 46 years and was a member of Family Life Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents. (Published in Amarillo Globe-News, Dec. 27, 2006)
