"Mark William Greer never married and had no children. He had a very high IQ and entered college at 16 without finishing high school. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky he went to law school at Chase College of Law and became an attorney, passing the California Bar.Mark worked for a few years in the contracts department for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space in Sunnyvale, California in the early 1980’s before returning to North Wilkesboro to take care of his invalid mother.
