WADLEY --- Mr. James E. (Bill) Bibby, 82, of Wadley died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at his residence.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 4 at 2 p.m. at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette with the Rev. Ray Dunn officiating. Burial followed in LaFayette City Cemetery.
Mr. Bibby is survived by three daughters, Peggy Hurst of Opelika, Brenda Mattox of Wadley and Amanda Salzano of Forest Park, GA; his sister, Annise Leach of Palm Bay, FL; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Born Oct. 30, 1916, in Chambers County, Ala., Mr. Bibby was a member of Daviston Baptist Church in Daviston, Ala. He was retired from Southern Union State Community College with 13 years of service. Mr. Bibby was a farmer.
