Tommy Lynn Bishop, age 68 of Carrollton, passed away January 03, 2015. He was born August 24, 1946 in Canyon, Texas to the late E. H. Bishop and Pauline Victoria Matthews Bishop. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and later was senior general manager over sales with MBCI in Lithia Springs for 33 years. He was a member of Consolation Baptist Church where he served as deacon and Sunday school teacher. He is survived by his loving wife, Verne Eppler Bishop of Carrollton; daughter, Brandi Tinney (Tim) of Carrollton ; son, T.J. Bishop (Mindy) of Lubbock, TX; brother, Larry Glynn Bishop (Dale) of Belton, Texas; five grandchildren, Alexius Bishop, Haleigh Tinney, Levi Tinney, Christian Tinney, and Aiden Tinney. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, January 06, 2015 at 2:00 PM from Consolation Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Powers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, January 05, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel of Carrollton has charge of the arrangements.
