SUMMERLIN, Rachel Ethel, 86, passed away April 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie N. Summerlin; a sister, Geneva Harris; and a brother, Blenkey Greer. Rachel is survived by her two daughters, Cathy Jones and Lorie Summerlin; granddaughter, Melissa Millard (Eric); great-granddaughter, Ainsley; sister, Macie Guilliams; and a brother, Richard Greer.
Rachel was a loving wife and mother, a homemaker, and a longtime member of Corinth Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Va. A visitation will be held again on Saturday, April 14 at Corinth Baptist Church, 11650 New Kent Highway, New Kent, Va. 23124, with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
