Cheri Jaris, 73, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on September 5, 2019. She was born in Houston, Texas on July 25, 1946 to A. C. Brown and Agnes Brown. She was married to Edward Jaris for 53 years.
Cheri had a career in Administration and Greyhound Adoption for South Belt Leader & Gulf Greyhound Park.
She had a passion for reading, animal rescue and adoption, traveling and visiting casinos. She loved the Jersey Boys movie and music.
She is preceded in death by her mother Agnes Brown and father A. C. Brown.
She is survived by her loving spouse Edward Jaris; son Chris Jaris and wife Sherri; their sons Andrew & Daniel. Daughter Melisa Jaris and partner Candi; their children Richard, Allen & Grace. Daughter Carol Harris; her sons Christopher & Nicholas Harris.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Life will be held the following day on September 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with a committal service and reception to follow.
