Ira B. Hinton, 81, died on Wednesday, March 24, 2010.
He was a retired carpenter and served in the United States Army.
Mr. Hinton was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Hinton and Florence Burris Hinton.
Survivors include his wife, Vernie Sinor Hinton; two sons, Charles Hinton and Wesley (Etta) Hinton, all of Beeville; one step-son, Edward Adam (Terry) Czyk of The Colony; two step-daughters, Joy Ray Castellow of Pasadena and Michelle (Gary Jackson) Lee of Beeville; one sister, Cora Lee Mosley of Beeville;16 grandchildren and several great-grand children.
Visitation will be Saturday at 1 p.m. with a chapel service to follow at 3 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Stewart, David Hinton, Gary Jackson, Bryan Hinton, Leslie Walker, and Wayne Ladusch.
