Scott Thomas Lester, age 48, of Malvern, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Little Rock.
He was born November 10, 1964 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Richard Lee Lester and Alice O'Neal Cooper. He was a CNA, a certified hypnoist and loved to read, write, draw, and watch sci-fi movies.
He is survived by his mother Alice Fae O'Neal Cooper of Malvern; step-father Stanford Joseph (Joe) Cooper of Malvern; son Wrait Avery Lester of Hot Springs; daughter Grace T. Zhong of Stillwater, Minnesota; brothers, Richard Lee (Patricia) Lester Jr., of Van Buren, AR., Timothy William, Edward Lester of Malvern, Daniel James (Danielle) Lester of Paragould, AR, and Stephen Michael (Marie) Lester of Valley Springs, CA; sisters, Mary Alice (Kenny) Jones of Russellville, AR., and Nancy (Bill) Shnaekel of Malvern; father and mother-in-law James and Marilyn Swarts of Hot Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents J.L. and Pearl Lester and Edward (Bo) and Faye O'Neal.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday July 2, 2013 at 10:00AM at Alford Cemetery with Brother Bob McMullen officiating.. Visitation will be Monday July 1,2013 from 5-7 PM at Atkinson Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers are employees of Canyon Springs and the O'Neal great uncles.
