"Peter Kemper was the son of Presley and Mary Kemper. He died from an inflamation of the brain." (Spring Grove Cemetery record card.)
The bodies of the family located in the cemetery at Walnut Hills were moved June 14, 1864 to Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. These moves were made by L. Maffey and Company, Undertakers on the orders of Samuel Kemper, to Section 38, Lot 9, owned by Stephen Kemper.
