Individual Details
Sarah Brownlee
(January 12, 1795 - February 2, 1859)
"On my July 2003 visit to Union County, Mississippi, I visited the Oak Plain Cemetery on the Union/Tippah County lines. It is an abandoned cemetery located between Ebenezer and Academy Cemeteries in Cotton Plant. The headstone reads Sarah wife of J. Miller, born Jan. 12, 1795 died Feb. 2, 1859. It is a flat headstone and was covered by groundcover. The cemetery book does not list her under Oak Plain. I did take a picture of the headstone, if anyone would like a copy." (Angela Davis, 2009.)
