"Grace Florene Gee Creecy, 67, Eldorado, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, in Woodlands, Texas. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Eldorado with Dr. Dean Goodfellow and Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at the Odema Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Kincannon Chapel in Eldorado. Creecy was born May 13, 1933, in Montague, Texas, to Earl Nathan and Thelma Florene (Welch) Gee. She graduated from Olustee High School and was married to Lowery Taylor Walker for 22 years. She worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for 20 years, until her retirement in 1994. She was also a licensed beautician since 1967 and worked for H&R Block. She loved to travel, visit family and friends and helping care for the sick. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eldorado. Creecy was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Tommy Taylor Walker; a daughter, Jeanetta Diane Walker and both parents. Survivors include: a son, Phillip Dale Walker, Eldorado; a daughter, Kimberly Faye Talbert and husband Dale of Conroe, Texas; a brother, Earl Nathan Gee, Jr. and his wife Ada of Early, Texas; a sister, Dorothy Genetia Garrett and her husband Bill of Lindsay; a half-brother, John Paul Hefner of Edmond; a step-brother, Bud Hefner of Chickasha; a step-sister, Beth Davidson of Chickasha; three grandchildren and many other family members and friends."
