Edward Beecher Creel

Edward Creel served in the Civil War, Union Forces; enlisted 20 May 1861, discharged 31 December 1864. He was captured during the Salem raid, 10 December 1861, Covington, Virginia and was a prisioner of war until his discharge. In civilian life, he was a railroad engineer; was a member of the Brotherhood of Locamotive Engineers and served as secretary for about 15 years.
