"Tommi lived most of her adult life in North Dakota and Michigan. She had just recently moved back from up north before her untimely death she died after being burned by a kerosene lamp. She was able to live for 90 hours and when she gave up. She was not alone ... Judy her sister, John her brother and his wife Jessie, Marvin her husband, Terry her sister inlaw, and the hospital Chaplin where with her so she was not by her self. She got burned on Monday April 19, 1999, at 6:00 p.m. and passed at 1:15 pm on April 23,1999. Tommi was a lover of animals and people as well she will be greatly missed. Tommi was laid to rest on April 27, 1999 in Sunset Memorial Gardens, not far from where dad is. Tommi never had any children ... she lost a child in 1982 to a miscarriage, and wasn't able to get pregnant again. She always loved dogs and left behind 3 that meant the world to her ... she always called them her girls Tara,Yapper, and Mocha." (Interview.)
