"Silas Puckett, 74 years old, died at his home near Hargett, in the northern part of the county thursday, October 2nd, at 5:00 p.m. He had been ill for five months and 26 days. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Polly Puckett; one son, Ed Puckett, of Newkirk, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Wiseman, of Irvine, and Mrs. William Woosley, of Parvin."
