"McGUIRE, Eunice Ethel McCoy Templeton (circa 1913-1994) Eunice McGuire dies after illness Spencer resident and Van Buren County native Eunice Ethel McGuire, 81, died Aug. 5 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Nurfreesboro after an extended illness. A retired factory worker and a member of the Mount Elim Baptist Church, she was the daughter of James William and Mary Alice Grissom McCoy and was preceded in death by her husband Elbert McGuire and one son, Charles Ernest Templeton. She is survived by one son, Eugene Templeton of Lebanon; one daughter, Maxine Rigsby of Bone Cave; seven grandchildren, Mark and Alan Templeton, Breda Myers, Sandra Bouldin, Pam Comer, Kenny and Keith Rigsby; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Services will be held at 4 po.m. today at High's Chapel with Willard Ralph Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Long Cemetery. High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
