"Graveside services for Tommy E. Nordyke, 70, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier. He died Sunday at St. Mary's Medical Center in Long Beach. The cause of death is pending a doctor's report. Friends may call from noon until 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Dilday-Mottell's Mortuary Chapel in Lakewood. Mr. Nordyke, who was born in Lamesa, Texas, lived in Sun City for six years. Mr. Nordyke is survived by his wife, Betty; a son, Randy L. of Long Beach; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mauriene Strahan of Cottonwood, Texas." (The Press - Enterprise, Riverside, California.)
