James Coy McKaskle, 87, died Friday, June 8, 2001 at Conway Regional Medical Center. Born December 27, 1913 at Greenbrier, Arkansas.

A son of the late Samuel Blair McKaskle and Callie Langston McKaskle. He retired as Transportation Director of Ward School Bus Manufacturing with 20 years service.

A member of Central Baptist Church for the past 46 years and a 32nd degree Mason. He served on the Conway Civil Service Commission for 16 years. He also served for 16 years as a Faulkner county justice of the peace. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Fathel Howell McKaskle; a son, Bill Mobbs; daughter, Linda Williams, all of Conway; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2001 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

Burial will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.

Pallbearers are grandsons Steve, Mark and Scott Mobbs, grandsons-in-law Gary Middleton, James Webb and Shad Overman.

Honorary pallbearers are nephews Sam McKaskle, Gary Stanton, Eddie Dunlap, and Dr. Parker Norris and the Central Baptist Church adult men’s Sunday school class.

Visitation will be 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2001 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
