"Mrs. Clarice Glasson, 81, of Coleman died Monday at 3:00 a.m. at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the First Presbyterian Church in Coleman. Reverend Jeff Robinett, pastor of United Christian and Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Coleman City Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home. Mrs. Glasson was born in 1918 in Houston. She attended Coleman High School and Mayfair-Taylor Secretarial School in Austin. On September 22, 1941 she married Louis Glasson in Coleman and he preceded her in death in 1989. She had been a resident of Coleman County since 1923 and was a housewife. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include: two daughters - Mary Glasson of Alexandria, Virginia and Tracey Clark of Roanoke, Virginia ; three sons - Paul Glasson, D.V.M. of Lockney, Texas, John Glasson of Oklahoma City and Tom Glasson of Dallas; six grandchildren. Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00p.m. Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Big Country, 3113 Oldham Road, Abilene, Texas 79603."
