Mrs. Eva Mae Bullard, age 70 of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at her home in Gurdon. Eva was born on Monday, July 20, 1942 in Prescott, Arkansas to Roy Shelby and Katie Aileen Dodgen Robbs. She was a retired beautician, a home-maker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Gurdon. She is preceded in death by her parents and a grand-daughter; Cassie Carter. Eva enjoyed many things in life, but her biggest pleasure was taking care of the needs of her family, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and helping her neighbors. Eva is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Retired Colonel Charles N. Bullard of Gurdon, her two loving daughters; Stacey Bullard of Arkadelphia and Kim King and husband, Mark of Gurdon, her two sisters; Wanda Allen and Royce Ann Barbaree both of Gurdon, her grandchildren; Charles Carter and Callie Clark, her four great-grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews, other family members and a host of friends. Eva will be deeply missed by her family and her friends. The Bullard Family will receive friends at the First Presbyterian Church, located on Main St. in Gurdon, Monday, May 27, 2013 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm. Funeral service for Mrs. Bullard, 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 28, at the First Presbyterian Church in Gurdon, with Rev. Rusty Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Decipher Cemetery, on Red Springs Road in Gurdon. Arrangements are by Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie Brazzel, Director.
