James D. "Danny" Wood, 55, of Gurdon, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday February 22, 2012.  Danny was born February 25, 1956 in Gurdon, Arkansas to Daniel Mermon and Flora Mae (Dodgen) Wood. Danny is survived by one brother, Ed Wood and his wife Betty of Hot Springs, Arkansas and one sister Emma Graves and her husband Dennis of Flippin, Arkansas, one nephew, three nieces and one great niece.  Danny is preceded in death by his mother & father.  Visitation will be: Friday February 24, 2012 from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. in the Chapel of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.  Graveside Service will be Saturday February 25, 2012 at 2:00p.m. at Decipher Cemetery with Bro. Steve Stephens officiating, under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
