MARRIAGE - Jeremiah Luckett - Elizabeth Finnie LDS Files IGI - Kentucky Records pg. 7,838 26,Dec. 1818. S 09 Mar 1972MT -Batch 7033814-Serial Sheet 45 Also, Microfilm Reel # 538676 , Franklin County, KY Marriages, Kentucky State Archives. Their marriage is also listed the book "Forks of the Elkhorn Church" pg. 135.
Census - 1830 Franklin County, Kentucky, Jeremiah Luckett as head of household between 30-40 yrs, one male 0-5 yrs, one male 10 to 15 years, one female 0-5yrs, 2 females 5-10 yrs and one female 20-30 yrs. Microfilm. Jeremiah was living in Carroll Co. KY in 1838 when the county was established. He had purchased 250 acres in 1835 and a small portion of that property (only 33 acres+) has been deeded down through the generations to the current owners, Betty Luckett Babitzke and husband, Ernest H. Babitzke. Betty and Ernie see to the upkeep of the Luckett Cemetery that is no longer part of the Luckett property across the road.
Census - 1840 Carroll County, Kentucky Jeremiah Luckett, age 30-40 yrs,(?) as head of household 3 males, one 5-10 years and one 10-15 years; with one female, age 40-50, one female 0-5 yrs, one 5-10 years and one 15-20 years. Microfilm M704, pg. 154.
1850 Census, Jeremiah was living in Carroll County, K Y, age 65, with a wife, Elizabeth, age 59, a son Robert, 22; a son John, age 16; a daughter Harriet, age 14 and a daughter Elizabeth, age 13. All were listed as born in Kentucky (This writer believes that Jeremiah was born in Charles Co. MD. due to date of father Samuel's removal to KY was not until after 1810) with the exception of Elizabeth, the wife, which shows IR. It could be IR for Ireland which family members agree on. Microfilm M432-195, pg 4ll or 206. (Two numbers on page.)
Death - Court Waiver by Elizabeth Luckett to administer estate of Jeremiah Luckett dated 7 July, 1862 to Judge of Carroll County Court, Kentucky. There are two unmarked adult graves in the Luckett cemetery, which are more than likely those of Jeremiah and Elizabeth. No record has been found on these burials to date.
