Nora Lee Ellen Griffith
(January, 1876 - Bef 1930)
FAG 195905101
Nora (Griffith) Gray lived in Oklahoma at one time. (NOTE FROM RALPH TERRY: Marriage of Nora Lee Ellen Griffith to A. E. Forrister on 12 November 1889 on file on Comanche, Texas. I am not sure if this is the correct Nora, but her father, Mattison Griffith, lived in Comanche County, Texas. Nora was the only name I had for her.)
Some family records show she was first married to a Gray. Although that is possible, It appears that she was only married to A. E. Forrister on November 12, 1889 in Comanche County, Texas, where all her children were born. Her mother's maiden name was Gray.
The 1900 , 1910 and 1920 censuses show various ages of her birth. 1876 appears most likely, but she would have been only 13 when she married.
Some family records show she was first married to a Gray. Although that is possible, It appears that she was only married to A. E. Forrister. Her mother's maiden name was Gray.
The family was living at Mount Sylvan, Smith County, Texas in 1920. Her husband, Andrew Edward Forrister was living with his son, Thomas, in Precinct 6, Smith County in 1930. Andrew was buried at New Hope Cemetery, Mineola, Wood County in 1957. I have assumed that Nora is also buried at New Hope Cemetery.
