"Delbert “Bo” Griffith , age 66, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving and devoted family whom he loved more than anything. A Memorial service will be Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Crosspoint Fellowship Church 201 N. Main St. Pleasanton, Texas at 11 a.m. Services officiated by Pastor Clyde Butter.
"Born on September 19, 1946 in San Saba to Thomas Andy and Marjorie Alene Griffith. In 1963 at the age of 17, Delbert joined the U.S. Army and while he did not make the Army his career he became a welder by trade. As a resident of Leming for nearly 35 years where he raised his family and ran his own business “Bo’s Welding Service” is where he called home.
"Bo was preceded in death by his parents, one brother James David Griffith and sister, Mable Escobar.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years Mikelean; daughter Dellean Hartmann and husband Jimmy of Taylor; sons Delbert “Bo” Griffith, II and wife LeeAnn of Weatherford, Michael “Bubba” Griffith and wife Jenny of Pleasanton. Six grandchildren Kacey Burch (husband, Billy), Mallory Hartmann, Katelynn Griffith, Riess Ann Griffith, John Allen “Buck” Griffith and Riley Cade. One great-grand daughter, Kylie Mae Burch. He is also survived by sisters Evelyn Evans of Caldwell and Thelma Brazil of Ft. Worth and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
"Please join the family immediately following the Memorial Service for refreshments in the Crosspoint Fellowship Church meeting hall."
