Individual Details
William Whitesides
(Abt, 1699 - )
"William Whitesides was transported about 1719 to Stafford County, Virginia. After serving his indenture he was a tobacco farmer in that part of Stafford County that became Prince William County, Virginia. In 1764 he and his family removed to a tract on Negro Run in Culpeper County, Virginia. Besides a son John he probably had daughters, Lettice and Sarah. This son John was alive in 1768 but apparently predeceased his father. This John had two children, John and Mary. I am descended from Mary and twice through the second John. The younger John removed to Boones Creek in Fayette County, Kentucky, where he died in 1806. (Todd Whitesides.)
