"Lowrey Greer was working at Floyd Clark's sawmill - it was his first day there. At the sawmill he bent over and the saw got him across the hip - much loss of blood. He lived into the night. A doctor came out from Norfield. The pallbearers walked with the coffin all the way from his parent's home to Topisaw Church. A road then ran northeast from Andy Greer's place directly to Topisaw."
