"Clifford Dwight Hall was owner and General Manager of three lumber yards (Hall Lumber Company) and also owned a real estate and construction company. He was a member of the American Legion, Lions Club, Masons, Shriners, the Mooses, the Eastern Star (Past Patron); was a past mayor of Skidmore, Missouri; was past president of Mo-Kan Lumbermen's Association (Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma); and was past president of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce. He served in the Navy during World War II, in the Pacific. He attended high school and the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. He is an Episcopalian. His address in 1983 was 1309 W. Price Street, Savannah, Missouri 64485. Wilma Elaine (Strasser) Hall was a Registered Nurse. Her parents were both of Swiss descent." (Lois Temple FGS 378.)
