"DAWSON SPRINGS - Mrs. Cindy Greer, 78, Dawson Springs route two, died in the Fox Nursing Home here at 4:15 a.m. Monday. Survivors include three sons, Leonard Greer, Ilsley, Thomas R. Greer, Dawson Springs route two, and Harold Morris Greer of Granite City, Ill.; two daughters Mrs. Ruth Moore, Dawson Springs route two, and Mrs. Dimple Suttlle, St. Charles; two sisters , Mrs. Lou Casteel, Dawson Springs route two and Mrs. Martha Lantrip, Jeffersonville, Ind.; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Ilsley Holiness Church Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating. Place of interment has not been announced. The body is at Beshear Funeral Home where it will remain until the funeral hour." (Madisonville Messenger, June 5, 1960.)
