"Confederate Scrip. No. 1765, 1280 acres. General Land Office, Austin Texas, March 21, 1882. This is to certify, that Mrs. Leanza Greear is entitled to have surveyed by any legally authorized surveyor, upon any of the vacant unreserved and unappropriated public domain of the State of Texas, Twelve Hundred and Eighty Acres of Land in accordance with the provisions of an act entitled. "An act granting to persons who have been permanently disabled by reason of wounds received while in the service of this State, or of the Confederate States, a land certificate for Twelve Hundred and Eighty Acres of Land," approved April 9, 1881, said Leanza Greear having made the proofs required by said act. ... Know all men by these presents that I Mrs. Leanza Greear, of the county and State aforesaid, in consideration of the sum of seventy-five dollars, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have sold and delivered and by these presents do sell and counvey unto Mr. G. Eustis, of said county and State, land scrip No. 1765, issued to me on the 21st day of March A. D. 1882, of the commissioner of the General Land Office for 1280 acres of land, and I hereby warrant and defend the title to said land scrip against the claims of all persons, given under my hand this 26 day of April, A.
