Adah Hart

Adah Hart was born March 31, 1836; in Cambridge, England; the daughter of Benjamin and Lucy (West) Hart. The entire Hart family immigrated to Ingham County, Michigan in 1852. Adah married I.T. Wilson, (also an immigrant from England), April 6, 1856 in Williamstown, Michigan. They, and their eight living children relocated to Tarrant County, Texas in 1882. They lived for a time in the Fossil Creek area then moved into Fort Worth. Adah Wilson died Feb. 27, 1923 and is buried alongside I.T. under a beautiful oak tree in Oakwood Cemetery, Fort Worth, Texas. Adah Hart Wilson was my great grandmother.
