"Kinzea Sr. and his wife Sally were married in Albemarle County, Virginia by the Rev. Jacob Watts, the bride's grandfather. The family lived in Albermarle County, Virginia until 1804-5, when they moved to Bourbon County, Kentucky Kinzea empowered his parents in 1810 to sell his Albemarle County home. In his will dated 16 Nov 1844 and probated Mar 1846 in Bourbon County, Kentucky Kinzea, Sr., devised to Kinzea, J., the 100 acres where the latter then lived."
