Elizabeth "Kitty" Acland (1772-1813) who in 1796 married Henry George Herbert, 2nd Earl of Carnarvon . [7] On her marriage she received as part of her marriage settlement the Acland estates of Pixton and Tetton in Somerset, [14] which thus passed into the Herbert family.
