Died in command of the ship 'Wolf' at Labuan, January 1847The only son of his father, James Alexander, was an officer in the Royal Navy, a Commander in 1842,
who died in command of the ship ' Wolf ' at Labuan in January 1847. (Labuan is a federal territory off the coast of Borneo in East Malaysia. It is made up of Labuan Island and six smaller islands.)
