Ammon Void Brown
(16 Jul 1885 - 11 Aug 1958)
Born in Kaufman, July 16, 1885, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Brown, Mr. Brown came to Sherman from Mineral Wells 54 years ago. He was a member of the Central Christian Church, Travis Lodge, masons, Sherman and Mosiah Temple Shrine, Fort Worth, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Before becoming seriously ill, Mr. Brown served on the National Council, Boy Scouts. On June (, 1907, he married Miss Grace Oglesby in Dallas.
Survivors besides his wife are four daughters, Mrs. Clyde Jump of Boulder, Colo., Mrs. V.L. Cooper of Dallas, Mrs. D.N. Sutherland of Sherman, Mrs. R.D. Flanery of Garland, one sister, Mrs. Harry Bowler of Brenham; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Masonic rites will be accorded at the graveside.
