Josephine R. Wells

St. Clair, April 13 - Mrs. Josephine A. Wiley, lifelong resident of this vicinity, died sunday in the Alice Hewitt Nursing home, Port Huron, after a long illness. She was the widow of Elmer Wiley, who died in 1936.
Mrs. Wiley was born Dec. 14, 1868 in St. Clair Townshp, daughter of the late Justin and Josephine Wells, pioneer residents in this vicinity. She lived for many years at 7148 Rattle Run Road.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fern Aldrich, and a son, Harold E. Wiley, both of St. Clair Township. An elder son, Duane Wiley, died in 1941.
Remains are in the T. R. Bower funeral home, St. Clair, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Albert A. Ruff, pastor of the English Lutheran Churchof Our Savior, Port Huron will officiat and burial will be in Hillside Cemetery
