Patricia Lynne Johnson

Patricia Lynne Johnson Tigner of Granbury, 54, passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2010 in Granbury. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Acton United Methodist Church. Burial: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Visitation was Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home with a rosary. Memorials: St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Patricia was born in Fort Worth on Feb. 6, 1956 to Cecil and Agnes Johnson. She graduated with honors from the University of Arlington with an accounting degree and as a certified public accountant in 1978. Her professional career includes Arthur Young in Dallas, being a corporate accountant for PepsiCo in Mission Viejo, Calif. and in New York City and at Columbia-HCA in Fort Worth.
On Jan. 8, 1994, Pat started her second career as a wife and homemaker when she married Tom Tigner, Jr. of Granbury. She always said this part by far was the most challenging and rewarding part of her life. Their family came quickly with the birth of twins, Katelyn Marie and Alyssa Leigh on Jan. 25, 1995 followed by Thomas Tigner III on May 20, 1996. The Tigner Family attends the Acton United Methodist Church.
Pat had been in many organizations to help support her family through the years. A few of those include Mothers of Multiples, preschool teacher, various offices in the PTO, school helper and room mother at the various schools and with the Girl Scouts. Recently she was becoming active in the band, academic and tennis booster clubs. For over 10 years she had been a member of a prayer group, Mom's in Touch, which brought her comfort and strength.
She was preceded in death by her father. She is missed greatly by her family and many friends.
Survivors: Husband, Tom Tigner, Jr. of Granbury; children, Katelyn, Alyssa, and Thomas; mother, Agnes Marie Johnson of Fort Worth; sisters, Kathleen Crockett and husband, David, P.H.D. of Stephenville, Christina Grant and husband, Paul of Houston and LuCinda Medlenka and husband, Mark of Houston; brother, Dr. Andrew Johnson and wife, Dr. Olga of Vincennes, Ind.; aunt, Lou Whorton and husband, Homer of Frost; several nieces and nephews.
