Thomas Jamison Tigner

Tom was born August 23, 1930, at home in Angleton, Texas, to John Hughes and Marie Williams Tigner. His ancestors have been traced to Stephen F. Austin's Original 300.
He graduated from Texas A&M, Class of 1953. Tom was a member of the Angleton Church of Christ. He was a lifetime member of the Brazoria County Fair Association, where he was past president. He also was a member of the Brazoria County Cattlemen's Association and was a past board member of Richmond Production Credit Association, where he served 25-plus years as vice chairman and chairman of the board.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Toole Tigner, on January 14, 2003; his parents; and his brother, Tim Tigner.
Survivors include his children, Tom Tigner Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Granbury, Lyn Stockman and husband, James, of Missouri City, Marie Hillman and husband, Trey, of Liberty Hill and Frank Tigner of Angleton; grandchildren, Katelyn, Alyssa and Thomas Tigner III, Miranda and Lee Stockman and T.J. and Brianna Hilllman; dear sweet Eddie Mae Jones; and loving friend and companion, Dell Dowden.
Pallbearers will be Paul Kresta, David Spore, John Spore, Patrick Fuchs, Joe Mike Spaniel and Robert Morganliner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Preisler, George Andrus, Charles Gless, W.F. Gonzales, Neal Banfield, Bobby Stewart, Robert Stewart Jr., Jason Dildine and members of Brazoria County Cattlemen's Association.
