Delores Leola Hancock DeGaugh was born July 28, 1930 in Dallas, Texas to Adrian and Leola Hancock and went to be with he Lord January 20, 2014 in Austin, Texas at the age of 83 years. She was a graduate of Hempstead High School and tended the University of Texas at Austin. She was loved and active in the First Baptist Church Hempstead, a popular soloist in the church choir with an amazing soprano voice. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Harold DeGaugh of Hempstead on June 3, 1951. She was a devoted, loving wife to Robert for 58 years. Delores was a caring mother of three daughters: Debbie, Nancy and Linda.She is survived by: her daughters Debbie Haedge and Nancy Stolz of Hempstead, Linda Haedge of Austin; 8 grandchildren, Jami Aguilar and husband Chris of Austin, Texas, Kristin Jones and husband Orion of Yuma, Arizona, Keith Stolz and wife Shannon of New Braunfels, Texas, Robert Haedge and wife Amanda of Dale, Texas, Michael, Lisa, Matthew, and Emily Haedge of Austin, Texas; and 10 great-grandchildren: Carson, Chloe & Claire Aguilar of Austin, TX, Taylor, Nicole & Katherine Jones of Yuma, AZ and Addyson & Kole Stolz of New Braunfels, TX.
