Gravesite Details: aged 43y 13dDespite the date on his tombstone, James will in the Logan County Courthouse makes it clear that he died in July of 1849. It is believed the tombstone was erected many years later, when his wife, Mary "Polly" Roberts died and whoever commissioned it had a mistaken understanding of the year of his death.
